- Amanda's getting quite good with this cake baking stuff. This was my birthday cake--a marble chocolate cheesecake. One of my favorites! Before cake, we went to the restaurant Fondue Bar and had what else--fondue! We cooked vegetables, breaded cheese sticks, veal, duck, and turkey in a spiced oil fondue. Even though there was cheesecake waiting at home, we couldn't resist the chocolate fondue and dipped kiwi, bananas, apples, pears and small pastries into a white and dark chocolate mix. It was delicious!
Sounds like you had a great birthday. Hope today you will be chasing the girls around the park to wear off some of those calories. Happy birthday son.
