- The Christmas trees (here they are New Year's trees) arrived on Sunday in Kyiv. We picked one up yesterday and used our family home evening as a good time to decorate the tree. Now it finally feels a little more like Christmas!
Are they celebrating the Gregorian or Julian calendar holidays in Ukraine?
For religious events, they use the Julian calendar and celebrate Christmas on January 7th.
