- I take the underground subway (metro) to and from work each day. This is the entrance to the station closest to KPMG. Since we've arrived in Kyiv, I estimated I have been on the Metro about 745 times. It's a great way to get to work, as it is a guaranteed 25 minutes from home to the office. Driving technically COULD take only 15-20 minutes, but traffic is terrible here and those who live near me say it usually takes 90 minutes or more. Plus, it's a time to unwind before I get home in the evening. I've loved having the extra time to just think without too much distraction. Plus, who can complain with only 50 cents a ride (and until recently in December when they raised the prices, it was only 10 cents)!
That’s quite the fare hike! I enjoyed the Metro as well. It was my Ensign reading time.
