What makes this sunset cool, is that the sun is actually setting behind us. You can see it really well reflecting off the church and the windows in the apartments. It was amazing how quickly it changed from minute to minute and how quickly the effect disappeared. Withing less than 10 minutes it started, peaked (about the time this picture was taken) and then faded to dusk. I really should have grabbed the tripod, but I knew by the time I set up, the moment would have passed. So, I settled with less than ideal settings and an OK shot, but at least I caught it.
