- Today was the last day of school for the kids. As part of graduation and the celebration, the students dress up in these formal clothes, complete with colored sashes that we think represent the school. Friends will often try and match or do some type of theme together with their clothes, but it seems the traditional look is black suits with white shirts. We love those huge white bows in the girls' hair! It is such a festive time and the air is electric with excitement, even though the tradition stems back from the Soviet Union era.
