- After our fun in Edmonton, we drove up to Cold Lake (about 3 hours away). Once the kids were in bed that night, I noticed an orange glow on the houses across the street. I snuck a peek outside and noticed this beautiful sunset. Of course I had to grab my camera and tripod and tried to get a few pictures. I find it extremely difficult to really capture what the eyes are seeing. As striking as the photo is, it was nothing compared to the "real" scene.
