We took my Dad and Grandpa out for a Father's Day dinner at Boston Pizza. It was great to hear the stories from the "old" days from Grandpa. He told a few stories I've never heard before. From his first car--a Ford Model T (which he bought for 6 dollars wehn he was 16 years old), to his "smuggling" days when working later in his life (he welded a false bottom into an extra fuel drum that he would haul in and out of a restricted work site and would use to smuggle in contraband to later trade for car parts and good food). He has seen everything from the first flight, the first car all the way to the high tech world of today! It was great to see him again and show off our boy and his great grandson.
