- After Church (and lunch and a nap), we took Grandma and Grandpa Harrison out to see Snoqualmie Falls. The drive was absolutely breathtaking. The rain was in front of us and the sun was setting behind us. We were able to see rainbows all along the way (which was very appropriate since Kathryn had never seen a real rainbow and had just had her party 2 days before). They were brighter and clearer than I have ever seen in my life--full arches from one side to another. At one point as we crossed Lake Washington, we could even see where it was touching the water. And this was all before getting to our destination. The only regret was that I was driving and the camera was in the back of the van. Oh well, I still got a few great shots of the falls.
