- So, we flew down to California yesterday and arrived in weather not too unlike Seattle--a little rainy, a little cool. However, Amanda's parents have fruit trees in their backyard, including this lemon tree. I guess being from Canada and all gives me a little different perspective, but I just find it fascinating to be able to grow something like this in your yard! The only things we really grew at home were things like carrots and potatoes.
