- One of my clients, manufactures and sells these AEDs (automated external defibrillator). You know the things that shock you back to life when you have gone into cardiac arrest. Conveniently, they have one hanging on the wall in the headquarter's entryway.
How much is the list price on those? Are they available to the general public?
They run for about $1500-3000 depending on the model and they are available to the general public (although I think technically a medical prescription/authorization is required). And even though anyone can use them, they are still considered Class III medical device!
