- This afternoon I decided to make some fresh bread. I was craving the "batons" we bought almost every day in Kyiv and so tried my hand at a similar loaf. And it was delicious! And it only stayed fresh for 1 day just like in Kyiv, so we ended up making french toast with the second loaf 2 days later.
